2004 - David M. Flowers, MD Award for Excellence in Cardiology

Flowers Family, 2004In memory of a gifted cardiologist, The Grand View Hospital Board of Trustees established the “David M. Flowers, MD Award for Excellence in Cardiology.” An associate of Buxmont Cardiology in Sellersville, Dr. Flowers was a member of the Grand View Hospital medical staff. Although he was only 48, he made tremendous contributions to the hospital and the community. This award inspires caregivers to achieve the same excellence in patient care and dedication to community service that Dr. Flowers exhibited throughout his lifetime.

In 2006, Grand View opened the David M. Flowers, MD Cardiac Catheterization Lab in memory of the well-respected cardiologist. The second phase of the cardiac catheterization lab was completed in 2009.
